The instructions for hat and gloves are written for the Magic Loop method of circular knitting, but a standard 16" circular needle and double pointed needles can also be used.
The samples shown are knit in Caron SIMPLY SOFT Tweeds, Red Heart TLC ESSENTIALS and Red Heart SOFT yarns, resulting in a Medium and Large size items. I used three (3) 5 oz. skeins of Caron SIMPLY SOFT, three (3) 5 oz skeins of Red Heart SOFT and two (2) 6 oz, skeins of Red Heart TLC Essentials per gloves, hat & scarf set. The pattern provides a chart showing how a change in yarn and gauge can produce XS through XL size outfits.
The pattern includes owl charts plus written instructions for all of the items. Gift tags are also included for you to print.
