Overlay Mosaic Crochet Square - RUNES alphabet letters

This pattern is for an overlay mosaic crochet square for a lapghan, pillows, wall hanging, etc. Or individual letters could be rearranged into your own design. Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. Using a yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, this will take approximately 340-400 yards of the background color & 200-240 of the letter color. (around 11.5 oz total). To create a larger square, you can add extra rows to the top or bottom, or in between letters, as well as add extra stitches to the sides or in between the letters.

This pattern includes the full chart, along with general instructions on how to read the chart & do mosaic. It doesn’t not have row by row instructions, due to the fact that each letter could be stitched on it’s own or in various arrangements of your choosing.
