Outdoors Splendor Hat & Cowl 15-155

I love the look of textured knit, but love the speed of crocheting. This set solves the problem. It’s crochet, but the stitching looks like textured knit producing a dense, stretchy fabric without the typical holes left by crochet.

I originally designed this for a friend’s son and it looks terrific in more masculine colors, but you can add a bow and change the colors up a bit for a more feminine look. Try pretty flower or butterfly buttons for the cowl/scarf or maybe glamorous rhinestones!

The pattern includes both the hat and the cow/scarf so it’s a terrific value too! The hat is sized from Newborn to Adult and the Cowl/Scarf comes in two sizes, one that should fit most kids (except for the very young) and one for adults, but it is easy to customize sizing if you choose.

My patterns are written in Standard American Terms and include pictures, stitch guides and explanations, as necessary, to make them easy to follow.
