Out-of-the-blue hat

Story of the pattern:

I am a great fan of colourwork, and shades of blue make my heart sing. But unfortunately I am just not talented enough to knit a Fair Isle pattern. As soon as I began to knit with 2 strands at the same time, I had to declare defeat. I thought there must be a easier way to reach a similar look, so I knitted a lot of swatches and fi nally developed this slipped stitch pattern. And guess what, you just knit with one strand at a time. :)

The hat is knitted in the round in one piece with a slipped stitch colourwork. It is very easy to knit with a great effect at the end and perfect for left-overs:)

70 (70, 80)g of Cobalt Heather: 9457

15 (15, 20)g of Colonial Blue: 9326

10 (10, 15)g of Grey 8509 and Navy 8393

Ich liebe Norwegermuster, aber sobald ich mit 2 Fäden in der Hand stricken muss, bin ich komplett überfordert. Daher habe ich dieses Muster entworfen:einfach rundgestrickt und mit nur einem Faden in der Hand zu stricken, aber mit einem tollen Effekt! :)
