I started this pattern thinking about the cold and humid winter mornings when the dew drops accumulate on the grass and flowers, mornings when a stroll through the countryside forces us to use an extra warm accessory to keep the cold away. A shawl like this one, Orvalho (the Portuguese word for dew). Knit a size to your liking, use yarn of pure wool in a beautiful colour, wrap yourself in it, and go for a walk, in the countryside, or in the city, and you’ll feel warm, comfortable and elegant. The pattern is easy to memorize, suitable for keeping your hands busy, talking with family and friends at the end of the day, or to knit while following your favourite TV show.
