Opie Ostrich

Opie is a fun alternative to the traditional Easter chick. He sits 8 inches/20 cm high. With his big eyes and eyelashes he is sure to be a hit any time of the year

Knitted using DK and fun fur yarns on 3mm and 6mm needles. I have named the yarns I used, but any brand or colour of Chunky fun fur can be used, the goes for the DK yarn.

The pattern itself is simply and clearly written and includes tips and many photos to help you along the way.

Abbreviations used K = knit p = purl st/sts = stitch/stitches tog = knit/purl next two stitches together inc1 = knit into the front and the back of the next stitch to increase PLEASE NOTE: if you use any other method than this your stitch count may not work out. TURN = work the stated number of stitches stop then turn your work around ignoring the un-worked stitches left on the left-hand needle. Work on these stitches only as the pattern directs.
