Opabinia

This is a lace sock that is knit from the toe up, with a slip stitch heel. There are 2 sizes, a 72 stitch leg and a 64 stitch leg. There is an option for doing the toe in an eye of partridge stitch.

“Opabinia is an extinct stem-arthropod genus found in Cambrian fossil deposits. The only known species, O. regalis, is known from the Middle Cambrian Burgess Shale Lagerstätte of British Columbia, Canada.”
