Old Town Shawl is a perfect weather transition accessory.
- You can make this shawl in fingering, sport, or dk weight yarns.
- The body of the shawl can be made in stockinette or garter stitch.
- Based on your yarn choices and whether you work the body in stockinette or garter stitch, your work will result in a shawl (bigger depth) or a shawlette (narrower depth).
Gauge 22 sts and 28 rows in 4x4” /10x10 cm in stockinette.
Notions US #6/4.0 mm for DK yarns or US# 5/3.75 mm circular needles (32”/80 cm) for sport/fingering yarns or size needed to obtain gauge; 2 stitch markers; Darning needle or crochet hook for weaving in ends.
Yarn and Sizes Info One size fits all. Needs 600yds of Sock/fingering or Sports or DK weight yarn.
