Product Description
‘Off Piste’ is a crochet pattern for a cosy, waffle stitch beanie hat with a slight slouch. Finished with a giant pom pom, the textured fabric will keep you warm whether you’re on or off the slopes this winter.
Skills used: The pattern requires working in rounds and rows combining post stitches (UK raised stitches) with basic stitches. Because of the post stitch increases, I would class this as an intermediate level pattern.
Full instructions are included as well as a link to a waffle stitch tutorial to assist.
Materials: You will require 150 - 250m of light aran / worsted weight yarn, depending on the size you are making, and a 5mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Approximate meterage by size is listed in the pattern.
