Regarding which color to use for A or B, it doesn’t really matter - in my first one, I used the “lighter-brighter” as color A, and in my second, I used the “lighter-brighter” as color B. You use both pretty much equally, so really whichever you grab first :)
If you're doing a 3-color version, you'll be subbing color C for color B in the final clue, so color A will be the most dominant in the FO.

Notions: One stitch marker and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge: 24 stitches and 46 rows measure 4 inches (10 centimeters) in garter stitch. Achieving proper gauge is essential for the finished shawlette to reach the intended dimensions and drape.
