Product Description
Nova is a single design for a lovely table runner (no repeats). One meaning of Nova is bright new star! It is a mosaic overlay pattern.
The sample in the first photo used Hobbii Twister yarn with a 2.5mm hook and measures 123cm x 31cm (48 ½” x 12 ¼”) not including the fringe.
It’s a beginner friendly mosaic pattern as there are no special stitches. If you know basic crochet stitches and can keep track of your stitches then this pattern is for you.
There are 3 patterns: US terminology pattern, UK terminology pattern and a separate file for a full size chart. Scroll down for UK pattern.
The pattern contains written instructions and a number of charts for printing and one full chart to use with an app or tablet.
Included are instructions on mosaic overlay techniques and chart reading.
If this is your first mosaic project, you will find many YouTube videos if you need further help.
When choosing yarn, it is important to choose contrasting colours so the design stands out.
