Not My Mother's Cowl

Initially this cowl was designed as a gift for my Mom. I was knitting it around her house and because I’m always knitting I didn’t bother to hide it away, she never ask me about my knitting. Suddenly, from nowhere, she asked me what I was knitting and I told her that it was a cowl. She said nothing. A few days later she saw the finished cowl and said to me: is this cowl for the people of the Antarctic? I knew immediately, this is Not My Mother’s Cowl!

Knitted in round in one piece and grafted as a moebius cowl. This cowl is the perfect leftover design and a great addition to any wardrobe (except my mother’s wardrobe).

Yarn

MC: 260 yds / 240 mts of worsted weight yarn. CC: 13 yds / 12mts of worsted weight yarn. For each chevron stripe. (21 chevron stripes in total)
