Product Description
Nimmo Street is a cold uni-student abode. The kids that live there are too poor to use their heater in Winter so I knit them some mitts in their honour. These mitts feature a one by one rib panel that runs on the inside of the hand. This rib feature is carried through the thumb, and creates a perfect fitting mitt and thumb. The mitts are reversible and can be worn with either stocking stitch or purl depending on your mood. A quick and simple knit, this pattern will quickly become your go-to for mitts.
Construction:
These mitts are knit in the round using your preferred method of small circumference knitting. They begin at the cuffs. Increases are used to shape the gusset.
Techniques used:
Knit and purl
Working in the round
Working small circumferences in the round
Increasing and decreasing
Backward loop cast-on
