Nilsa is a crescent shaped shawl, worked top down in a combination of garter stitch and an easy lace pattern

Material

The shawl requires approx. 400 gr (904 yds / 824 m) of DK Weight Yarn

The sample shown used 8 skeins of Supertwist DK by Nurturing Fibres (100% Merino, 113 yds yds / 103 m per 50 gr); each 4 skeins in colorways Lunar and Silver

One US 7 / 4.5 mm circular needle (or size to obtain gauge), 32 “ / 60 cm or longer, one stitch marker, tapestry needle

Gauge 18 sts x 26 rows = 4 x 4 “/ 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch (after blocking)

Finished size after blocking (wingspan x depth) 98 ” / 245 cm x 20” / 50 cm
