Worked entirely in an open mesh fabric, the garment is built from alternating 16-row bands that gently shift direction. The shoulders are joined using the 3-needle bind off. At the back neck, carefully placed short rows widen the ribbed border creating a collar that sits comfortably against the neck. A twisted rib edging frames the garment for definition. The armholes are finished in the same twisted rib, shaped with short rows to extend beyond the shoulder line for a hint of cap sleeves.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe ribbed edge for the garment as well as for sleeves is optional.
