NELLIE CRUSH

The NELLIE CRUSH is a quick knit and practical piece which folds flat to stow for travel or storage. Two versions are offered in the pattern. The first is wide brimmed and full of cottage charm. The second version has only a roll on the edge, creating a wide beret shape. Easily knitted with yarn held double throughout the project and fulled to perfection, she is shown here in Merino wool now available through Ambrosia Cottage! Two contrasting colors were used for the wide brim version. NELLIE CRUSH has a low, wide and old-fashioned silhouette and a warmth and grace to brighten even the fiercest of winter's days.
