Nelli Hat & Cowl

Nelli is a two-piece set, consisting of a hat and a matching cowl. Worked in the round in an easy-to-memorize lace pattern, both are quick and relaxing to knit. For a cozy and warm set I used Baby Alpaca – its tiny hairs snuggle against each other, providing protection from the wind in spite of the lace pattern.

Gauge: 23 sts x 38 rows in lace pattern = 10cm/4”

Hat sizes: S/M/L for head circumference of 50cm-53cm/19.5”-21” (S); 54cm-58cm/21.25”-23” (M), 58cm-62cm/23”-24.5” (L)

Cowl: One size (approx. 60cm/23.5” diameter and 23cm/9” height)

Samples are worked with Lang Yarns “Baby Alpaca”; 169m /185yds)/50g.
