Product Description
This is a pattern for a knit shawl that features two Shetland lace (and cable-lace) stitches The focal stitch is an intricate and unique cable lace stitch that makes quite a statement. The border stitches are also fairly intricate. Either stitch could be used alone in a shawl, but together, they make an heirloom shawl.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable-lace knitting).
The two stitches are both charted and written out line by line.
Any heavy weight fingering yarn or light sport weight yarn will work with this pattern.
No crochet hooks are needed if you do not want to do the optional edging.
