Murdock Slouchy Hat

This intermediate crochet slouchy hat pattern is full of style and function. The sideways mock-knit design means this hat will keep your head cozy and warm. The design is chic and well-complimented using any color of yarn. Use a lovely sock weight yarn and make a hat with lots of flexibility, great for all seasons. Or use a worsted weight yarn and make an exceptionally warm and fun cold weather hat.

Included are the patterns to make the hat with both sock and worsted weight yarns. The pattern calls for approximately 180 yards of a worsted weight yarn and a US-J 10/6.00mm crochet hook. Or approx 350 yards of a sock/fingering weight yarn and a US-F 5/3.75mm crochet hook. You'll also need a scissors, and a tapestry needle.

The pattern is written to make a finished piece which is one size fits most adults. Pom pom is optional.
