This pattern is simple and beautiful, perfect for the chilly season and a real eye catcher with the double-layered design and the reverse colours.
Techniques used are
- knitting in the round,
- knitting rows in stockinette stitch,
- picking up stitches and
- simple increases (left and right leaning – m1r, m1l)
- loose bind off.
What you need: * Yarn: Any fingering weight yarn of your choice, 30-40grams per color (170meters/50grams), not thicker than sock weight yarn works best. * Needles: 5dpn + 1 extra needle, size as indicated on the yarn. I used 2.5mm (US1.5) needles, but some prefer 3mm (US2.5) needles, as it gets a bit bigger and lighter . * Gauge: 10x10 st =3,5-4cm (1.4-1.6inches)
