Mother and Child Spirit Amigurumis

This pattern allows you to crochet a Mother Spirit and her adorable Child. These sweet little creatures care for nature - mine are Earth and Water Spirits - and the Mother nurtures her Child and teaches it how to look after the world. You can choose the type of Spirits you would like to make by using different yarns to create different creatures.

The pattern uses mohair-type yarn and double knitting (dk) weight yarn. The pattern is written using US crochet terms, and the list of abbreviations includes the UK alternatives.

To make the Mother Spirit, which will be between 6” and 8" tall, depending on yarn used, you will need:

Approx 50g mohair-type yarn.

Approx 15g double-knitting weight yarn.

To make the Child Spirit, which will be between 5” and 6" tall, depending on yarn used, you will need:

Approx 35g mohair-type yarn.

Approx 10g double-knitting weight yarn.
