Mosaic Linked Diamonds

Mosaic Overlay Crochet Pattern in US and UK terminology. Linked Diamonds is gorgeous because of the lovely background yarn. It is SO suitable for all those beautiful ombre/colour changing yarns. Using a plain colour for the contrast will really make the pattern pop.

The pattern is for a mini table mat but is suitable for blankets, scarves or cushions etc. Included are some details on how to use this pattern for other projects like a throw or a cushion.

It’s a beginner friendly mosaic pattern as there are no special stitches, just basic crochet stitches. It contains written instructions and a chart (marked with Xs). Included are instructions on mosaic overlay techniques and chart reading.

The mini table mat (blue/pink pic) was made using Hobbii Twister and a 3mm hook. The background colour used approx. 270 metres and the contrast colour used approx. 200 metres. Any yarn can be used for this pattern. Use the recommended hook for the yarn.
