Modernismo Socks

This was one of those designs that just worked out magically. I had sketched a little idea on a piece of paper and, of course, it didn't work out exactly how I wanted, but after much "doodling" with my charting program to work out the details, I was very happy with what I got. These top-down, lace socks remind me of Art Nouveau, so I named them Modernismo (one of the many names for this art movement). The pattern comes with written and charted instructions for two sizes and shows off best in a solid or semi-solid yarn.
