The Möbiusloop Rocky is a crocheted cowl featuring a distinctive Möbius loop construction. This intermediate-level design creates a continuous loop with a mathematical twist, resulting in a cowl measuring 60 cm in length and 38.5 cm in width. The finished piece uses approximately 900 meters of yarn and is designed to be worn as a versatile neck accessory with unique dimensional properties inherent to the Möbius topology.

Crochet Techniques Used

This pattern employs several fundamental crochet techniques executed in a specialized sequence. The construction begins with a foundation chain of 288 stitches, which must remain untwisted and lie flat to ensure proper pattern alignment. The defining technique of this design is the Möbius twist application: after completing the first row, the crocheter folds the beginning of the round downward toward themselves, repositioning the lower portion of the foundation chain to the top.
