Miniature Christmas tree jumper

This project is not suitable for a first project in miniature knitting.

This was the 2016 Advent Calendar from Buttercup Miniatures.

Materials required:

1:12th scale Man’s sweater - one pair of size 1.00 mm/US size 00000 knitting needles, 50 metres 1-ply yarn in main colour (M), 5 metres contrast colour A, 12 metres contrast colour B, 3 stitch holders.

1:6th scale Mans sweater - one pair 2.00 mm/US size 0 knitting needles, 70 metres 4-ply yarn in main colour (M), 7 metres contrast colour A, 13 metres contrast colour B, 3 stitch holders.

Finished sizes:

1:12th scale - To fit a 5½ to 6-inch/14-15 cm tall dolls house doll - approx 2½-inches/6 cm tall by 1¾-inches/4 cm wide

1:6th scale - To fit a 12½ to 13-inch/32-35 cm tall Ken (Barbie)/Action Man doll

Gauge:

1:12th scale – Gauge not given as dolls house dolls vary in size

1:6th scale - 9 sts and 12 rows = 1-inch/2.5cm
