Adorable retro playsuit!
My interest in old knitting patterns and styles came about after having looked through piles of my grandmother’s patterns from the 50’s. I found so many nice outfits, styles, and shapes, but the patterns were difficult to adapt to modern knitting equipment, yarns and gauges.
This particular model was created by looking at several old patterns and pictures of knitted outfits. I have adapted and ajusted them, and used my creative imagination to make a playsuit that I would want to knit for a small child.
The suit can be knitted in any colour and be used by both boys and girls. It is perfect for the newborn photosession, for celebrations of any kind, and by changing accessories you can style it for both everyday- and party use.
