Mighty Oak Hat

What a mighty little hat! Though it's great for everyday wear, you won't find a warmer hat that can look this dressed up. It's unapologetically mod, but will fit seamlessly into your winter wardrobe. Worked from the bottom-up in a fun, simple textured stitch pattern. Some of the cast-on stitches are later picked up to knit the brim downward, with spaces left to weave a decorative ribbon through and tie in a bow.

Sizes will gain an extra 1-2in (2.5-5 cm) in circumference after blocking if using recommended yarn. If you opt for acrylic, select a larger size or try for a slightly bigger gauge to get the size you need.
