Product Description
Many futuristic or science fiction fashions show designs with a metallic look, where the jewellery and the clothing are integrated. I was inspired to design a top which represents the intersection of garment and necklace. In keeping with the metallic theme, I chose a stainless steel yarn; as an alternative, a silk or silk-blend yarn will also provide the intended metallic sheen. It can be worn back-to-front, for a demure simple front and a dramatic back view. Two tops for the price of one!

Techniques: Short Rows, Placing beads (using a crochet hook), Kitchener Stitch (grafting), I-cord, Knitted Cast On.
Beads: approx 120-140 size 6/0 beads
Note: Yarn is held double. If a fingering weight (4-ply) yarn is substituted, yarn does not need to be doubled!
