This socks are knitted toe up.
In these socks I tried to reproduce the corset of medieval clothes used in the era in which Brave is set, the animated Disney film that features a young girl of the Scottish nobility, Merida, who does not follow the label too much imposed by the era in which she lives.
SizesXS (56 sts), S (60 sts), M (64 sts), L (68 sts), XL (72 sts). To fit a foot circumference of 20.5 (21, 21.5, 22, 22.5) cm, 8” (8.30”, 8.50”, 8.70”, 9”).
MaterialsDrops Flora (50 g/1.8 oz, 210 m/230 yds, 65% wool/35% alpaca): approximatively 55 (60, 68, 75, 82) gr, 231 (252, 286, 315, 345) mt of fingering yarn, col. 10. Needles: 2.5 mm US 1 circular needles with a 80 cm 32” cable long or longer, or a dpns set. Other: 1 stitch marker for the BOR, 2 stitch markers for to mark the increases of the toe, tapestry needle, scissors.
Gauge30 sts and 36 rnds = 10 cm 4” in Stockinette Stitch.
