Product Description
A Stegosaurus themed beanie for any little dinosaur lovers. Requires 3 different yarns: band, spikes and crown. The band is ribbed and I suggest a non-itchy yarn such as a baby wool or a wool/bamboo or silk blend. The spikes are wool as they require a certain amount of stiffness. The beanie is knitted-in-the-round. There are basic instructions given for a larger size. Written instructions are detailed and include explanatory photos. Included with pattern is a basic introduction to circular knitting. Also includes techniques and abbreviations used. Gauge is 22 sts to 10cm or 5 1/2 sts to 1 inch over stocking stitch (stockingnette). Lengths are given in metric and imperial units. Yardage for small version is 195m/213yards and for medium 225m/246 yards.
