Mathilde the Princess

Mathilde the Princess is made with basic amigurumi techniques, head and torso in one piece, and then the four limbs are sewn on. Her hair is attatched to a wig cap, and the pattern includes tutorial on how to make curls. The doll measures approx. 16 cm (6.3 in), and she has a whole wardrobe of clothes to choose from, including dresses, trousers, shoes, tops and accessories.

The pattern has a section called Tips and Explanations where techniques and stitches are explained with both text and step-by-step photos.
