Product Description
Ready for summer? This little market bag is perfect for a small shopping trip or lounging on the beach. Or perhaps as a storage travel bag?
The bag is knit bottom up, starting with a garter stitch rectangle, continuing by picking up stitches along the edges and then knitting the pattern in the round. The I-cord is threaded through buttonholes, and sewn together at the end.
Bag shown is knit with Katia Bombay (colourway 2001), 1 ball of 100 g (3.5 oz), 230 m (251 yds), but any yarn with the same gauge (24 m per 10 cm/4”) can be used. Be sure to get enough yarn!
Pattern includes written instructions as well as a chart.
