An easy knit, this romantic shawl is knitted in one piece from one end to the other with an integral lace edging. The pattern is fully written, with a supplementary chart for the lace. The (optional) beaded edging is also easy - a pre-threaded bead is simply pulled up to the knitting needle at the start of each even-numbered row.

I was searching for a lovely lace shawl to make for my bridesmaids. I finally found this pattern and loved the beading around the edge making it so special and feminine for my bridesmaids gifts. The pattern is very easy to follow, much easier than I was expecting. I’m almost finished the first one- few more to go!!
