If you need a little reminder of how important mammogram screening is, this is a wonderful tea cosy design of a Mammogram Lady who is promoting Breast Cancer Awareness.
Dressed fittingly in pink and wearing a pink ribbon, the Mammogram Lady Tea Cosy has had her test and is on her way home for a well deserved cup of tea to revive her. You can tell that she has already had the mammogram test because her breasts are flat. Going for a mammogram screening isn't the nicest of ways to spend the afternoon but I thought that taking a humorous look at it might make people giggle.
The 5 page knitting pattern is easy to follow. The pleats in her skirt are a bit tricky, so I have included a link to a Youtube video in the knitting pattern. The row is easier than it sounds and just watching the video will make it feel so much easier.
