This squirrel loves to munch on flavorsome fruits and the juicy guavas will definitely make for some scrumptious, tasty treats!

The 16 cm squirrel (+ a 13 cm tail) and was made on 2 mm dpn (UK 14, US 0), the 2.5 cm guavas were done in miniature on 1.25 mm dpn, all in single plies of Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine (150). Adding a strand of mohair gives the squirrel a fluffy look. Here, Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk was added to the base yarn. All items can be made on thicker needles, in heavier yarn, and will turn out larger. This easy, fast project is knitted flat with some intarsia color work and short rows and ideal for using up any scraps you have lying around.
