I have used just two motifs throughout. Rather than create another cardigan, I decided to create a colourwork waistcoat, providing warmth when needed but easy to remove when the temperature increases. The bands and welt are knitted in moss (seed) stitch echoing the finishing touches found on Vaila and creating a neat, stylish edge. Buttons are added purely for decoration with press fasteners also used.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMaggy is knitted in the round from the bottom up with a centre front steek worked throughout and additional armhole steeks are added when required.
