Mackenzie - 4ply booties and mittens

This 4ply Bootie and Mitten set is worked in a feather and fan lace pattern then garter stitch. So easy and quick to knit yet a practical present for a new bub that every parent will treasure.

Our set is photographed in size 3 months.

Pattern sizes: 0 (3-6-9) months.

To fit foot: 7 (8-9-10) cm [2¾ (3¼-3½-4) ins].

Yarn required: 1 (1-1-1) ball Patons Big Baby 4ply, 100g balls@420m. Quantities vary between knitters and types of yarns.

Needles required: A pair of 3.25mm [UK 10, US 3/4] knitting needles. Wool needle for sewing up.

Also required: 192 (204-216-228) cm [76 (80-84-88) ins] narrow ribbon.

Tension: 27 sts and 54 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over garter st, using 3.25mm needles.
