Lottie Baby Blanket

The Lottie baby blanket has just the right amount of lace to be exceedingly pretty, but still enough stocking stitch to provide warmth and stability. The blanket is knitted in one piece, with the borders knitted at the same time as the central lace pattern. I have marked this pattern as a skill level #3 Intermediate. The lace pattern itself is not difficult to work, but the stitch count changes throughout. You will need to be able to 'read' your knitting to see where you are when working the blanket. Once established the pattern works up quickly and I did find it quite addictive to knit.
