Starting with 4 sts it increases in size as you knit so if you choose to use this design for a scrappy shawl or wish to substitute for a stashed yarn you have plenty of, you can just keep increasing until you are ready to bind\/cast off. It features a simple icord bind off.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eQuite an intuitive knit once you get going, it is also fairly economical to make. Experienced knitters will find they hardly need to refer to the pattern once they have knitted a few pattern repeats.
