Lollipop

Sweet colourful child's cardigan. Knit with raglan sleeves and simple garter stitch borders. The colourful brioche body takes this cardigan to another level. The pattern assumes knowledge of the Brioche knitting and the abbreviations used. Some basic information is included.

Yarn: MC - Yarnstories fine merino dk (50g = 120 m /131 yrds) 2 (3, 3) x 50 gram balls in shade Burnt Sienna. CC - Wendy ROAM Fusion, 4 ply (75% wool) 1 x 100 gram ball (approx 50 grams used)

Needles: 4.5 mm (UK 7, USA 7 ) straight & circular needles.

Gauge: Brioche pattern repeat of 8 Brioche sts x 12 rows = 1.25” x 2.25” on 4.5mm needles. 20 sts x 28 rows = 4” x 4” worked in stocking stitch on 4.5mm needles.

Notions: stitch markers, stitch holders, 1 small 0.5” button.

Finished size:- Three sizes 6, (12 & 18) months - Chest (buttoned) 20” / 51cm, (22” / 56cm, 24” / 61cm). Length 12” / 30cm, (13.5”/ 34cm, 14.5” / 37cm). Upper arm 9” / 23cm, (10” / 25cm, 11” / 28cm).
