Product Description
A baby bonnet with a simple lace design. The pattern is suitable for a confident beginner. The pattern includes video links showing you how to knit the i-cord ties and finish your bonnet.
Sizes: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-2 years, 3-5 years
Yarn: Any DK weight
Needles: 3.25 mm and 4 mm straight needles, two 3.25 mm double
Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows over a 10 cm (4"0) square in stocking stitch
Overview:
You cast on at the brim, work a short section of 1x1 rib, followed by the lace pattern with an integral garter stitch border at the neck edge. At the start of the crown shaping you can choose to either continue on straight needles or work in the round from this point. Stitches are picked up and i-cords are knit at each side of the brim for the bonnet ties.
