Materials needed: 6mm or 10 US knitting needles, 100g or 3.5 oz Schachenmayr Select Pearl in colour 02216 (or any 6mm wide ribbon yarn - super bulky), grey sewing thread and needle, 15mm grey button, and clear adhesive.
Methods used: Cast on using the thumb method, knit or garter stitch, purl, stocking stitch - 1 knit row, then 1 purl row, KFB - knit into the front and the back of the stitch (increases by 1 stitch), K2tog - knit 2 stitches together as 1 (decreases by 1 stitch), cast off, sew the pieces together using mattress stitch or the Bickford method.
