I have only just started this pattern but I feel that this is a jacket rather than coat length. I am hoping to add extra inches to it to make it longer.

Product Description
A fur-trimmed coat and boots for a little Eskimo, worked in mock cable and twisted rib patterns.
The edging on the sample was knit in Sirdar Funky Fur (now discontinued). A substitute, slightly heavier, yarn is shown below.
