Like Boots or Hearts

I like a thicker sock in boots, and I like a little bit of unexpected color hiding away. Like Boots or Hearts has a heart lace motif running the length of the front and twisted ribbing around for a snug fit. The title is a line from a Tragically Hip song.

Yarn: Super Crafty Girl Oasis DK, 75% Merino 25% nylon, 246 yards/100g (Sample knit in Love Knots). Medium, ladies’ size 10 sample took 95g/234 yards.

Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or two circular needles size 5 US (3.75 mm), or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 24 stitches/32 rounds per 4 inches in blocked stockinette, knit in the round. Blocked motif 2” long.
