Kayenta area rugs typically use bright contrasting colors and have evolved into two large designs centered on each end of the rug with elaborate borders. These rugs are very distinctive and beautiful examples of a design which have evolved over the years into very striking examples of excellent Navajo weaving.

Each of our patterns are tested and proven. They are authentic designs that have been completed numerous times. Each comes with a color diagram and instruction sheet and includes the colors and amount of yarn required to successfully complete each pattern. All of our Patterns use 4 Ply Acrylic Yarn (wool can also be used if you prefer). You will also receive our detailed illustrated instructions showing the method used to change colors quickly and easily while at the same time, making a completely reversible piece of crochet work. I
