Large Geometric Tote

A large color-block tote bag with a bohemian vibe is a great addition to your summer wardrobe. Geometric shapes and tassels add character and ethnic style to outfits. Can be used as a market bag, beach bag, or everyday tote for carrying all the essentials. Perfect as a project bag or gift.

The bag is worked in continuous rounds, without joining. It starts from the base which is next seamlessly joined to the body. Then starting from the indicated round begins the geometric pattern worked using tapestry crochet. Tassels are added at the end.

Skills required:

Basic crochet stitches like sc, sl st, ch st, and tapestry crochet

Materials:

Cotton cord 3 mm or bulky yarn (cat. 5): 200 m/218 yards of color A, 100 m/109 yards of color B (100 m/109 yds~250 g/8.8 oz),

Crochet hook 5 mm/H-8,

Stitch marker, scissors, sewing needle, and thread to sew cord ends.
