Laney Long Legs is a beautiful bunny pattern that comes with instructions for a party outfit - dress, shoes, and a handbag! She also comes with instructions for a Christmas outfit - hat, scarf, and candy cane. There is a photo tutorial for adding cotter pin joints if you would like to try this method, or you can just sew the limbs on.
Size: 32cm or 12.5 inches when standing
Materials needed: 3.25mm or 3US or 10UK knitting needles, 60g or 2.12oz of grey double knit yarn, 40g or 1.42oz of white double knit yarn, small amounts of pink, blue, red, and green double knit yarn, stuffing, black embroidery thread, 2 x 9mm buttons, 8mm safety eyes (optional), pipe cleaner, set of 12mm cotter pin joints with fibreboard discs (optional), long nose pliers (optional)
Methods used: Thumb cast on, stocking stitch, KFB, PFB, YRN, K2tog, P2tog, and mattress stitch or the Bickford method for seaming.
There are two methods listed for knitting the legs and shoes – “All-in-one” or “Separate soles”.
