Using a US 10 needle, I have been knitting garter stitch, in what has been called the 'british throwing' method. The thickness of the yarn works well for this (usually I need to knit with two strands together to get the density I like). Sadly, the ball size is rather small so it would take 20+ balls to create the final project I had in mind - a wrap sweater/ cardigan, and thus that project is scrapped. This isn’t as chunky as the Paintbox super chunky therefore knitted the garment slightly smaller. But a lovely soft wool.

Nice and soft. One of the yarn was slightly darker than I originally thought looking at the website. But the quality is very good. So I’m happy.

Used my Millie yarn to crotchet a baby winter blanket

I bought the wool to make a pouffe cushion. I have just got into crotchet again and it was lovely to use a chunky yarn that looks so good when the work is finished. Very pleased with the result.
