MATERIALS YOU'LL NEED
Bulky weight (Category 5) plush, velvet, or chenille yarn such as Himalaya Velvet, Himalaya Dolphin Baby, or YarnArt Dolce. Brown, about 22 yards; red for the wings, about 8 yards; plus small amounts of pink, black, and white. A small amount of lightweight semi-cotton yarn for the embroidered cheeks and mouth. You'll also need a 4.0 mm hook, stitch marker, sewing needle, scissors, fiberfill, and two 8 mm safety eyes.
