Knitted/Felted Garden Lantern

Looking for something to make an ordinary evening enchanting? This super-easy garden lantern is knit completely in the round. Color designs are added before felting using Swiss darning (duplicate stitch) ... so don't worry about following a color chart or having to carry yarn! After knitting, felt the lantern in your washing machine. Making simple slits all the way around after felting allow the light from a battery-operated candle to shine through.
